### As an Acoustic Guitarist: How important is networking?

Acoustic guitarist Leoni Jane Kennedy talks to us about the importance of networking and how it’s helped her career.

#### Leoni Jane Kennedy

Leoni is an up and coming singer-songwriter whose music has been described as ‘haunting’ with very intricate guitar melodies and riffs. Since winning the Freddie Mercury Scholarship to attend her university, Leoni has begun to build her career as a musician around the Guildford/London area with her band backing her for gigs in bigger venues. The band have worked on a 7 song album and their single *Life Like This* with famous Producer of Motorhead and Uriah Heep, John Gallen.
