Trinity Open Evening in association with English UK South
Southbourne School of English, Bournemouth, Thursday 2 May, 18.00 – 19.30
Providing an internationally recognised examination at the end of a course of study can add value to your programme, in part by giving learners a sense of achievement and progression.
The Trinity suite of exams caters for students at every age and level – and for both short and long stay programmes. They provide a solid framework for teaching and learning that has a positive impact in the classroom.
This relaxed evening is open to school owners, Principals, Directors of Study and teaching staff who would like to learn more about Trinity exams, and the many advantages an assessment programme can bring, both academically and commercially.
The evening will include a short overview of the key English examinations from Trinity College London including:
Trinity Stars |
Graded Examinations in Spoken English (GESE) | Integrated Skills in English (ISE) |
A group award for students aged 3-12 that combines music and performance with language learning | Our speaking and listening qualification for teenage learners which involves a 1:1 assessment with a professional examiner | A 4-skills examination which is now recognised by 97% of UK universities for entrance purposes |
This will be followed by a presentation by Nigel McEwen, an experienced teacher-trainer and examiner who will talk about the ethos of Trinity exams, which are learner-centred, and focus on real, authentic communication, and the development of transferable skills for future study and work.
Trinity also supports each of our recognised exam centres with a robust training offer which includes workshops, webinars and resource materials to assist with exam preparation.
Wine and nibbles will be served and there will be an opportunity to ask questions about any aspect of our exams.
There is no charge for this event.
