## Svetlana Gritsenko 

Director of Studies 

 

Svetlana lives in Spain and works as the Director of Studies. After obtaining a degree in English Philology she immersed herself in the world of teaching English as a foreign language. For over 5 years, Svetlana taught kids and teenagers at the private academy called English First. In 2019 she completed a Master’s degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language at the University of Rovira and Virgili in Tarragona. In 2020 Svetlana was awarded a first prize in the John McDowell Awards for her Final Master's Thesis which was held in Barcelona.

Svetlana will be presenting on 'Teaching Pragmatics in the EFL classroom. Why and how?' at 10:15 (UK time) during the Future of English Language Teaching Conference 2023.
