In this video, Emily Barden introduces you to Vocal Exercises Initial-Grade 8 – a book and CD of short, fun singing exercises that develop techniques specifically required of vocalists in a performance-based context.
Emily explains that these newly-written technical exercises are “miniature songs; so if it is that the student really enjoys telling stories through songs, actually you get the opportunity with these technical exercises not just to be singing syllables but to actually be singing text, to be painting little mini pictures. And for some students that’s really going to help them enhance their exam experience”.
