Following the recent launch of Ofqual’s Extraordinary Regulatory Framework (ERF), Trinity is pleased to confirm arrangements for ESOL Skills for Life candidates. Results for candidates, who would have taken live assessments between 20 March and 31 July 2020, will be based on Centre Assessment Grades (CAGs).
The resources below are to help guide centres through the processes of establishing CAGs for candidates and submitting these to Trinity, and include:

This webinar gives practical guidance to ESOL tutors on how to assess writing samples eligible as evidence in consideration of determining a Centre Assessment Grade for the writing module. A variety of typical ESOL writing tasks at Entry 1 – 3 will be referenced, and time given to address questions.

This webinar gives practical training to Trinity ESOL centres on the whole ‘Centre Assessment Grades’ (CAG) centre portal process. This will include how to enrol students eligible for CAGs, how to upload the completed ‘Evidence Sheet’, and how to submit any evidence required in the case of moderation.
